Barking’s Kiely ‘snuck credit card knife’ into ATIK Romford nightclub

James Kiely, 19, of Perth Road, Barking, stood accused of possession of a blade in a public place at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on May 31st.

James Kiely, a security card by profession, was caught with a knife that was disguised as a credit card at ATIK in Romford, RM1 on April 29th 2022. He was handed 3 months imprisonment, suspended for one year.

Knife crime in Barking and Dagenham is on the rise, and councillor Darren Rodwell has recently pledged to evict families with crucial information about knife crime who do not co-operate with the police.
